Ted Ginn redeemed himself.....sort of.

Mea Culpa on Ted Ginn. Kind of. The popular image of us in sports radio is that we focus too much on the negative. I suppose this blog won't do anything to dispel that perception.
I have nothing but the highest praise for what Ginn did on special teams. Two kickoff returns for 100 and 101 yards make him the first player to player to return to kickoffs for touchdowns in the same quarter since 1967!
His returns were breathtaking and his speed is electric.
However, and you knew there had to be a however, I still won't change my opinion that he shouldn't start at wide receiver. Make no mistake about it. The Dolphins offense on Sunday should have been pictured on the side of a milk carton, gaining a putrid 104 yards.
Ginn was a target just once and it went incomplete. The point of this blog is that until he proves he can be an effective receiver, and no one did that Sunday, I wouldn't re-annoint him as a starter. Play him at wideout for sure, but not as often as he previously did.
Sports is always a case of "what have you done for me lately?" Well, including Sunday's game against the Jets, Ted Ginn the receiver has caught a mere five balls. FIVE!!
As a kickoff returner, his talent is stellar. As a receiver, there a many questions yet to be answered.
