
"Golf Exchange presented by The Honda Classic” is a 2-hour weekly golf talk radio program airing every Sunday morning from 8am-10am, hosted by Russ Evans and Pat Rooney Jr. The duo is entering their fifth season together working on the golf show, and this is the second year that The Honda Classic is underwriting the program. Program content includes coverage of tournament play on the PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tours, frequent interviews of touring pros, television analysts, and writers, and discussions of local golf events including charity functions and junior golf initiatives.

Russ Evans was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida. He’s been broadcasting sports in south Florida on both radio and television since 2001, with stops at WEFL and WPTV before landing at 790 The Ticket. A graduate of the University of Florida, Russ can be found on most weekends cheering for his beloved Gators if not on the golf course. He lives in Lake Worth with his wife Joyce and a baby girl on the way in March 2009. |

Pat Rooney Jr. was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Philadelphia. A grandson of legendary Art Rooney, the founder of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pat was involved in professional sports from a young age. He’s been broadcasting sports on radio in south Florida since 2002, with stops at WBZT and WEFL before 790 The Ticket. A graduate of Clemson University, Pat also received his law degree from Villanova. Pat is the President of The Palm Beach Kennel Club and Vice-Chairman of the Palm Beach County Golf Association, and he resides in West Palm Beach with his wife Patty and their four children |
