Back From Biloxi… By Hoch

We left town right after our second Dania Jai-Alai night last Wednesday… Dan, Myself, and some other friends went to The Beau Rivage in Biloxi to do some gambling and have some fun… Was definitely a good time. We got caught there for an extra day, because our flight home on Sunday night was canceled, but still a great time.
Don’t want to admit that I played roulette and video poker machine most of the time, but I did. Usually we play craps. Craps, craps, and more craps. I can stand at a craps table for eight hours and never get bored. But for some reason, Dan and I started playing roulette when we got there, which is a game we NEVER play. Stupid game- but man is it fun when you’re hitting numbers. (I”m always hammering number 23 for Michael Jordan and number 6 for Dan Uggla. Yeah, I’m a dork. So what?)
So now we’re back, trying to get into the swing of things. My main order of business is to get our poker tournament all set up for Wednesday, July 16 at Dania Jai-Alai. It’s a $25 buy-in, and we’re figuring the winner will take home somewhere in the $2,000 range. That’s all I got right now… Just got back into town and getting everything settled…. Thanks to everyone that braved the shitty weather last Wednesday for our Jai-Alai night… They had a great crowd again, and we all had a really good time. Can’t wait to do another jai-alai night. (I proudly wore my Dania Jai-Alai hat all through Biloxi, Mississippi.)

Pat, you’re so right about her. Speaking of hot women, I watched Hitman this past weekend. I think it was largely the dark character she was playing, but Olga Kurylenko (who will also be the next Bond Girl) was very hot in that movie.
And Hoch, I’m glad to hear you guys had a good time, but I’m more glad to have you guys back. Yeah, I’m being selfish.

How about this Hoops, next time you hear Zaslow say something incorrect, write it down or remember it and post it here. For example it would be something like: “Today Zaslow said The Mavs drafted Dampier 3 overall when in fact he didnt even go until the 2nd round.” OR something like “Yeah Zas thinks Dalembert was a terrible pick. Guess he thinks know 15 and 15 a game is terrible.” Stuff like that so maybe I can start agreeing with you. Just saying “Zaslow is short. He doesnt know hoops. His predictions suck.” Or maybe just give me some examples of his lock of the week predictions that he totally missed on.

Plus the fact the lil prick makes bullshit statements like they are fact. In really the are his non-informed opinion. Yeah, the Marlins really miss the D-Train and his 10.xx ERA, Detroit is getting a lot of innings out of him…..in the minors. NOT even that.
Really I like Dontrell, I wish him the best. If the are doesn’t come back maybe he can pull a Rick Ankel. The D-Train does wheel a mighty bat.

I rarely hear the guy on the radio. I’m just going after the none stop nature of this bashing. Just move on, anonymous posting on this blog will do nothing. Ratings are all that matters. Pray people don’t listen or expect him to stick around, regardless of the level of his talent or knowledge. Its the nature of the beast guys.

So what’s up with ya TC? The boy sucks. I don’t think he is a bad person but he is someone that was promoted to his level of incompetence. That any intelligent person would have to agree. I did tell Zas that I would listen and I tried but it was too difficult. I tune into 640 if there is no Marlins. It’s just professional radio, where Zas is a joke. And not a funny one….just sad.

Don’t know…to be quite honest you can leave elevator music playing on 7pm slot and it will be more enlightening then Asslow.
I caught a little bit of chump stains shows…three observations…
He could quite possibly be the number 1 cause of road rage
He used a joke/comment that Dan used on Uncle Luke 3 hour’s earlier during his show…not original
Worse of all he was talking smack about Steven A Smith…Asslow…you are on a radio show in the local Miami/ Fort Lauderdale market, on a time slot that gets preempted by Marlins Games…you are whored out all weekend to fill in for time slots that no one is listening to and you say things with no validity and you still have the gall to call out Steve A about a comment he made about the Trailblazers not knowing what they were doing last year? And that that is the reason he is doing interview’s during the draft this year?
You probably had a wet dream every night leading up to last night…you probably thought of being that guy that gives the jerseys and hats to Stern and the drafts picks.
TC…that is why Asslow is a total turd…not humble, not respected, doesn’t respect anyone, has clinged on to LeBatards teet cause everyone hates him…and worse of all throws bricks in glass houses…

So, with gracious humility I will respectfully bow out of the fight. I do however intend to continue make ridiculous comments on this blog like when I asked Hoch if the show was scripted.

Bring back Anita Marks, at least she was hot and when she did have an opion (right or wrong) she had facts to back it up. Anita use to be a trainer at my gym in Hallandale very cool chick and HOT. She is in Baltimore now but I am sure if Steve would give her an offer she would bite. That would fill a timeslot. Like 10-12.

Went to the Marlins game yesterday…less then 20,000…more then 314…but the game was out of control…
I can’t wait to give get rid of the umpire(calling strikes), the day they move to a digital sensor of the strike zone will be great…he made some shitty ass calls yesterday…the sun was hitting his back all day…f’n *ussy!!!

I couldn’t agree with you more.
I am and always will be against “the human factor” in officiating. It’s so much better when they get it right and the strike zone is consistent.
I rank major sports in the following order, the top being the worse officiated and the bottom being the best officiated…although at times, there are some major issues.
1. Soccer (sue me, I’m talking international and European soccer not that crappy MLS)
2. Basketball - not only is there a stench of possible cheating among other refs, the stars get most of the calls, inconsistency from ref to ref and quarter to quarter.
3. Baseball - like King said, use the damn digital strike zone already.
4. Hockey - some of the issues with basketball plague this sport; but overall they let them play.
5. Football - instant replay, from my perception, the least major errors occur.
