Ed Freeman - A life long sports fan- (but definitely not a great athlete)- Ed literally stumble upon the radio industry while attending Florida A&M University on a music scholarship. He asked the Program Director how to become a radio dj, and the rest, as they say, is history. After excelling at the school's radio station, Ed was recruited by the #1 commercial station in Tallahassee. He spent the next two years there honing his on air skills and delivery. Ed then took his show to Cincinnati and worked on WIZF and WDBZ. While there he worked closely with the station's sports show as producer and talent, and found out that he had a knack for sports radio as well as music radio.

Finally moving back home to Miami, Ed was partnered with Jeff Fox at the now defunct WTPS to host a weekend sports show. The two hit off instantly. When WTPS was sold, the Sports Brothers were born and subsequently brought their show to 790 the Ticket. Ed is a Miami homer, as well as a big fan of football nationwide. In his spare time you can find him spinning at parties, watching movies and spending time with family.

Jeff Fox - If you knew Jeffrey as the chubby little island boy growing up in Freeport, Grand Bahama in the Bahamas then you would not be surprised that he is doing what he does for a living today- talking sports. Always the kid on the basketball court who could not get in the games - because he had no game - but if there was an argument on who beat who or who ran the fastest, it was settled by “hey ask Jeff!" “My passion for sports comes from my dad, Sam Williams, a bodybuilder and devout Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Bullets fan". Jeff landed a gig as a sportscaster at ZNS 3 in Freeport right after high school and honed his skills there for a few years before moving onto Miami, where in addition to being a club DJ (Don't call him Jazzy) he eventually landed at WTPS 1080am doing sports updates.

It was there where he met his co host Ed and together they hosted the Big Sports Show. After the station was sold, the duo moved to 790 The Ticket and became THE SPORTS BROTHERS. Jeff loves his home teams- The U, Heat, Marlins and Fins, but is also a closet Lakers , Raiders and Yankee fan. Jeff says he has something in common with Jesse Jackson. "We both have never met a microphone that we didn't like!”
